A clearer dashboard and a more useful team calendar

When you open Cala HQ, you usually have a simple question: who’s away today, what time off is coming up, or does a request need your attention?

We’ve updated the dashboard, navigation and team calendar to make those answers easier to find.

See what’s happening today and what’s coming up

The dashboard has a new layout that brings the most useful information closer together. You can see who’s away today and find your upcoming time off in a clearer chronological view.

Your leave information still has a place on the dashboard, with the relevant details from your organization’s policy. The layout also adapts to smaller screens, so it’s easier to use when you’re away from your desk.

Review requests from the team calendar

The team calendar has a refreshed design, and managers can now see pending requests alongside the calendar view.

Select a leave entry to open its details in a side panel. From there, managers can review the request and approve or decline it while keeping the calendar in context. That makes it easier to consider a request alongside the rest of the team’s plans.

Find your way around

We’ve also refreshed the navigation for Calendar, People and Leaves. On mobile, the menu now opens as a side panel, making the main areas easier to find on a smaller screen.

These changes are part of our ongoing work to make Cala HQ easier to use every day, whether you’re checking your own time off or helping the whole team plan ahead.
